Offered here is a rare complete run of Two (2) consecutive serial-numbered $1 Depression Scrip notes issued by Atlantic County, New Jersey on April 12, 1933.
These pieces were printed during the Great Depression as emergency local currency to supplement cash shortages and help stabilize the county economy.
This is a very desirable matched-run set of two notes—far more scarce than individual notes.
