Our warehouse and office are located in sunny Florida, where all our orders are shipped from.
Are purchases reported to the government?
We do not report customer purchases of precious metals to the government or IRS in the vast majority of cases. Specifically:
- Purchases made by common payment methods—such as credit card, bank wire, ACH transfer, personal check, or cryptocurrency—are entirely private and require no reporting.
- The only exception occurs when a purchase involves cash (or certain cash equivalents, such as cashier's checks or money orders under $10,000) exceeding $10,000 in a single transaction or related transactions. In these instances, we are required to file IRS Form 8300 for anti-money laundering compliance.
There is no central registry or national database tracking individual bullion purchases in the United States.
Please note that separate reporting rules may apply if you sell certain quantities of precious metals to a dealer. For personalized tax advice, we recommend consulting a qualified professional.
What is "presale" or "preorder"?
A presale item is a product that isn’t yet available in our vault, typically because it’s a brand-new release or is awaiting arrival from our distributor. The expected release date might be listed on the product page so you’ll know when it’s scheduled to leave our facility.
A preorder item has already been officially ordered and confirmed with our partner mints but has not yet been cleared for shipment. Preordering ensures that your item is reserved in advance before it becomes available for general sale.
