For sale is a lot of 2 original German Notgeld (emergency money) notes from the Gemeinde Königsee (Bavaria), both dated 26. März 1921. These are beautifully designed pieces featuring Bavarian colors and alpine lake views.

You will receive the exact notes shown in the photos:

1) 25 Pfennig – Königsee

• Front:

  • Text: “Notgeld der Gemeinde Königsee – Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig”

  • Decorative border with edelweiss flowers and blue-white Bavarian lozenge shields on both sides.

  • Date and “Bürgermeister” signature at bottom.

• Back:

  • Full-color view of Königssee with mountains and St. Bartholomä church, boats on the water, and ornate blue-and-gold frame with “25 Pf.” in roundels.

2) 10 Pfennig – Königsee

• Front:

  • Text: “Notgeld der Gemeinde Königsee – Zehn Pfennig”

  • Matching ornamental border with Bavarian shield and scrollwork, dated 26. März 1921.

• Back:

  • Scenic landscape of lakeside village and mountains, framed by an elegant border and crossed oars over a Bavarian shield at top, denomination “10” in corners.

• Both notes are kept in rigid plastic sleeves (included).
