    Offered is a lot of 3 original German Notgeld (emergency money) notes from the town of Fallersleben (near Braunschweig), issued in 1921. These colorful notes feature the town’s lion coat of arms on one side and scenes related to the poet Hoffmann von Fallersleben on the other.

    1. 10 Pfennig – Gutschein von Fallersleben

      • Front: “Gutschein von Fallersleben” with central lion coat of arms and ornate border, value “10” in corners, valid “bis 1. Oktober 1921”.

      • Back: Monument scene with portrait medallion of Hoffmann von Fallersleben and “10” denomination.

    2. 25 Pfennig – Gutschein von Fallersleben

      • Front: Similar design with lion arms and heavy decorative foliage border, value “25” in corners, validity 1 October 1921.

      • Back: View of castle / Amtgericht & church at Fallersleben, with portrait in oval at left.

    3. 50 Pfennig – Gutschein von Fallersleben

      • Front: Matching lion coat of arms design, value “50” in large numerals, text panels and floral scrollwork.

      • Back: Detailed view of the poet’s birth house, with portrait of Hoffmann von Fallersleben in round frame.

    All three notes were printed by Druckerei Appelhans, Braunschweig, and form a complete mini-set from this town.

    • Notes are stored in rigid plastic sleeves (included).

    • Paper shows light age toning and minor handling / corner wear typical for vintage notes.

    • No major tears or heavy folds visible; colors remain bright and attractive.
