    Lot of three original German Notgeld (emergency money) notes from the town of Senftenberg (printer: Gebr. Parcus, München), issued just after World War I in the early 1920s. All three notes share the same ornate front design with the city coat of arms inside a castle gate and Gothic script, with different colors and denominations. You will receive: 25 Pfennig note (blue) Obverse: “Notgeld der Stadt Senftenberg” with large 25 in oval medallions and city arms in the center. Reverse: Detailed view of the Stumpfer Turm and old town street scene, sepia style. 50 Pfennig note – cows scene (green) Obverse: Same coat-of-arms layout, denomination 50 Pfennig. Reverse: Pastoral scene with cows lying in a field, decorative border and text. 50 Pfennig note – text reverse (green) Obverse: Identical to the other 50 Pf.
